More than 250 guests were interested to test, for the first time in Romania, the new range of cordless tools from DeWalt – FlexVolt 54V XR. The event, organized in partnership with the American manufacturer DeWalt, was also a celebration of the first 18 years on the power tools market suppliers for Metatools.

The most skilled lumberjacks in Romania did show in Ploiești,  on September 4th  2015, at  METATOOLS Headquarters! Athletes from the national team of lumberjacks  have proven their craftsmanship and skill through the already well known  disciplines, included in the international competitions such as:  hot saw, single buck, springboard chop, standing block chop, stock saw and underhand chop. Since cutting wood is an action that requires appropriate equipment, the surprise for the public consisted in a  safety equipment fashion show.

Metatools, in partnership with Ridgid Tool Europe, organized a special event at the company headquarters in Ploiești, on Poligonului Street, No. 2. The milion dollars truck impressed the audience with its grandeur and innovative design. The event was the perfect opportunity for the guests to see at work some of the latest Ridgid products.

In 2014, the company participated at the national competition EY Entrepreneur Of The Year, organized by Ernst&Young Romania. Mr. Mircea Androne, co-founder of Metatools Ploiești, is one of the 40 businessmen who shared the story behind the successful business he created along with Alexandru Androne, General Manager. The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year event managed to create a community for the top Romanian entrepreneurs.

Metatools and Bosch organized a special Bosch event in which participants had the opportunity to meet one of the most beloved Romanian football player, Helmuth Duckadam. The event was the perfect opportunity for the guests to see at work some of the latest Bosch products, but also to win surprise gifts and autographs from Helmuth Duckadam.

To celebrate the 15th anniversary, Metatools organized in May 2013 a special event in partnership with Ridgid Tools Europe. The Ridgid Demo Day was the perfect opportunity to test some of the best tools and machines for pipe and tubing inspection that this brand offers. Also, the participants proved their plumbing abilities and won Ridgid tools as prizes.

The Bosch Tools Marathon was organized in September 2012, in partnership with Robert Bosch Romania. The new Metatools showroom of safety equipment was officially opened at this event. Among the guests were local officials, custumers and some of Metatools’s partners. The entertainment was provided by “Orfeas” dance group and by the original presentation of the Bosch tools and safety equipment.

After the success of 2010’s event we decided, together with our partners from Makita, to organize a similar event in 2011. In addition to the technical demonstrations performed by Makita representatives, the guests won surprise gifts.

In May 2011, Metatools joined Ridgid’s company educational support program «We build reputations», with a 20.000 euros equipment donation to The Oil-Gas University from Ploiești. Students and teachers were offered the opportunity to test the latest Ridgid equipments: pipe threading machines, pressing tools for copper and stainless steel tubing, utility locators, sewer video inspection cameras, as well as the latest rolling equipment.

For the first time in Romania, The Japanese corporation Makita, in partnership with Metatools, organized a demonstration of chainsaw equipment and professional tools. The event took place at Metatools headquarter, on Poligonului Street, no.2.

The event was part of the promotion tour organized by the RidgeTool company in Europe. The Ridgid Roadshow truck stopped in Ploiesti in April 2010. The 20 tone giant impressed the audience with its grandeur and innovative design. Specially built to allow the testing of professional tools and equipment for industrial pipe maintenance, the mobile showroom exposed a wide range of products from the Ridgid company portfolio.

Metatools celebrated the 10th anniversary with its customers at the demonstrative event “Bosch Power Adventure”, organized in partnership with Robert Bosch’s representative in Romania.
